I've been following Inara George around like a child entranced by the Pied Piper — first in her solo incarnation, then as part of the trio The Living Sisters, then the band Merrick and now as one half of the pop-synth duo The Bird and the Bee, whose forthcoming album of Hall & Oates covers has me spellbound; the arrangements are so pretty and precise while her voice is unendingly gorgeous — the timbre of Karen Carpenter with just a little Peggy Lee smokiness.
