Chilean miners sought succor in Mr Bean

"Psychologists selected the movies that the men watched on a cloth hung on a cave wall using a smart-phone-size video projector. They were allowed to view Mr. Bean and Jackie Chan movies, but not films about natural disasters or terror." — New York Times
My efforts to convince my wife that Rowan Atkinson is a genius have fallen on deaf ears so I won't repeat them here. There are only a few truly reliable indice of great cinema, but passing muster with 33 Chilean miners is not a metric to be sneezed at.

    Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea
    shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She
    put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside
    and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off
